This food looked really good and healthy but my dogs did not like it. They don't like kibble that much I was just trying something new. SF

These guideline amounts are a starting point for weight maintenance for moderately active adult dogs. Vary the amount fed to suit the age, activity level and temperament of your dog. Feed to maintain ideal body condition. Do not let your dog become overweight. These guideline amounts are for the total fed each day. Divide the amount fed by the number of feedings to get the amount per feeding. One 8 ounce measuring cup contains 3.5 ounces or 100 grams of PureVitaTM dog food. For Puppies: PureVitaTM dog food is appropriate for growing puppies. Offer PureVitaTM dog food moistened as soon as puppies begin to nibble at solid food. Feed puppies all the PureVitaTM dog food they will consume. After 6 months, feed at intervals throughout the day, increasing the amount fed and decreasing to 1 morning and 1 evening feeding. Calorie content (calculated): 3,433 kcal per kg or 365 kcal/cup. Provide clean, fresh drinking water daily.
My dogs have allergies and they love this food. They eat it right up...and I don't need to bribe them by putting other stuff in their dishes.

EVO Dog Small Bites - The Ancestral Diet Meets Modern Nutrition Small Bites - Dog Small Bites has the same meat-based ingredients as our Large Bites formula, but in smaller kibble sizes for smaller dogs. EVO dog food provides all the key nutrition received from a raw food diet with the benefits of modern research.
EVO Dog Small Bites is Grain-Free, Human Grade Dog Food
Although EVO Dog food provides 100% of the total nutritional needs of your dog, you still need to pay proper attention to these important factors to ensure optimum health:
My pomeranian deals with occasional colitis, so I've tried to find her a high quality food that doesn't contain any unnecessary grains for a dog's diet. Although she still seems to have these episodes, she loves the food and I will continue to use this brand.
Reduced Fat Dog Food - CORE Reduced Fat Formula is a more thoughtful grain-free alternative to diets in the marketplace delivering the meat content consumers are looking for, without the excess fat, calories or minerals their dog doesn’t need.
More Meat from Only the Highest Quality, Human-Grade Sources:
80% more meat than traditional dog foods that are formulated with grains, while still controlling mineral and fat levels!

When to feed CORE:
Perfect for everyday feeding, mixing with raw, supplementing raw or replacing raw while traveling.
Who Should Eat CORE:
The nutrient levels of this food are appropriate for adult dogs over 1 year. We do not recommend feeding this formula to puppies as they have special nutritional requirements during their growth stage. Please try our Wellness Puppy Food to meet these unique needs.
How to Feed CORE:
CORE is highly palatable, so your dog may tend to eat more of this food.
Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Please give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times.
It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes awhile for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness CORE each day, so that you are feeding 100% new food by day 7.

Pretty decent. The bites are very large, almost too large for my beagle/boxer mix (40 lbs). She likes the food and even eats with a anti-bloat bowl, but if she eats too quickly, the bites are so large she occasionally gets sick.

Puppies up to 6 months old may be fed 3 to 4 times daily. Puppies six months to a year may be fed twice daily.
Feed Pregnant Dogs up to 50% more during the last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing mothers require twice the amount of food as suggested in the daily guidelines and may be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
The above Daily Feeding Guidelines are a good starting point on the amount of food suggested to be fed on a daily basis. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the Daily Feeding Guidelines by the amount of times fed per day.

ORIJEN Senior - Biologically Appropriate for All Breeds
As dogs age, their bodies become less efficient at metabolizing the proteins that are vital to maintaining lean muscle mass and overall wellness. In addition to increased dietary protein, senior dogs typically require fewer calories than younger dogs, and fewer carbohydrates help improve insulin resistance.
ORIJEN SENIOR has a Metabolizable Energy (ME) of 3750 kcal/kg or 395 kcal per 250ml cup (105g). Calories are distributed to promote peak physical conditioning with 40% from protein, 25% from fruit & vegetables and 35% from fat.
She ( Onyx, my older German Shepherd ) wouldn't hardly eat it and she kept the runs. I moved her back to the Orijen Puppy Food and she is doing ok now.

Their senior formula has changed! My bag ordered 5/09 shows a different formula on the bag. 40% protein, 15% min. fat less kcals than before, 20% carbohydrates now. It smells very fishy (more fish near the top of the ingredient list now) and my dogs' poops are smelly and dark; my dogs are having gas since starting this bag. I have fed Orijen Senior for over 1 year, but we are leaving. I emailed the company to ask about the formula change, and other than an automated reply, nothing. We're leaving Orijen.

Nature's Variety Slow Roasted Treats are made in the USA, in our USDA registered facility. These treats are 100% natural – no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Their slow roasted, meaty treats supply quality protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to your special dog or cat. They also provide natural sources of glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen, and calcium for healthier joints and connective tissue.
Intended as a treat, not food. Supervise closely as overexcitement in eating or rapid consumption could result in choking. Do not overfeed treats or food as overeating is the most common cause of digestive upset. Wash hands with soap and warm water after handing any natural product.

These treats aren't nearly as good as the chicken and duck formulas. This one seems really hard and chewy - the others are softer and easier to chew (according to my dogs' reactions of course - I didn't try them) =)

My dog ate this food but was not really crazy about it. It probably is because she is very picky. There is probably nothing wrong with the food. I didn't really know how to rate it. It could be that she just doesn't care for fish.

Always introduce any new diet over a period of days, mixing with the present diet. Keep fresh water available at all times and offer plenty of exercise.

My dogs love it, but it gives them horrendous gas.

Transitioning to Wellness: It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.
Determining Feeding Portions: Looking at the chart below, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Wellness believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your dog's diet.
Nutrition is only one part of the equation! Be sure to give your dog plenty of love, plenty of exercise and see your veterinarian regularly to help ensure total wellness.
