My dog really likes this food. I started buying Burns brown rice and chicken because my dog had skin problems that I suspected were related to his food (I was feeding him Iams adult dog food). My 12-year old Australian Terrier has done very well on the Now! grain-free Senior dog food. Not only is the fat/protein ratio a good one for a marginally active older dog, but the calorie count of 341 per/cup is great for weight control. Figgie loves the taste, too.

My dog loves it, he was recently diagnosed with very early stages of kidney disease and the food my vet recommend was full of awful ingredients. After doing so research on what a balanced diet for a dog in the very early stages of KD looked like I found Burns Pet Health, it meets his nutritional requirements and I like the ingredient list. The Burns products are fantastic for dogs that need low protein diets. Both my Corgis have had urinary tract stones and this food is so much better than the prescription dog food alternative. They have been on it for two years and are doing great.
