I fed my vizsla the duck because she has been scratching a lot. She still scratches, but not nearly as much. I like giving her natural food without fillers, and the price is not bad. I'll buy it again in future. Thank you.

My Golden Retriever likes it but is having a problem with scratching still -- is there some corn is this? The food that he has been using and had little or no problems has been either duck & potato, venison & potato, or rabbit and potato -- no meal or oatmeal at all.

We have been feeding this brand/particular formula to our large breed dogs (Great Danes and Rhodesian Ridgebacks). It has been great and we have not had any problems with this food.

It recently came to my attention that Eagle Pack was bought by another company and have totally taken it over. I understand Eagle Pack now does not go through the inspection that is required in Europe before they will allow the food to be shipped over there. I know the packaging changed but can not trust that the food hasn't been changed too. Any information at all about this?? Thanks.

Our Siberians love Eaglle Pack Food, and we selected this particular formula because it contains L-Carnitine and Taurine - both of which are supposed to help with heart conditions. Our oldest Siberian has a Heart Murmur so we chose this food for him. Our younger dog loves it just as much as he does!

Chicken Meal & Rice Formula - This is a multi-purpose formula for adult dogs. It may be fed as the sole diet to normally active adults. Holistic vet practitioners will rotate among the three single-source protein diets (Anchovy, Sardine & Salmon Meal, Duck Meal with Oatmeal and Lamb Meal & Rice) every 3-30 days. My 9-year-old yellow lab was experiencing shedding, intense itching, chronic ear infections, always licking himself, and I felt so helpless because nothing seemed to be working. He was put on Soloxine for hypothyroidism, but that wasn't helping his coat and he was losing fur by the chunks. I literally spent 2 days on my computer researching dog foods because I was so desperate for a solution... and decided to try the Holistic Select Radiant Adult health dry food. What a difference! In a matter of 2 weeks, his coat has completely come back and his itching has drastically improved. When we take him for walks now, everyone comments on his beautiful shiny & thick coat and he seems so much happier and healthier now that we switched to this holistic dog food! I am so thankful and I want to say that if your dog is experiencing itching and/or lethargy, get his thyroid tested (have your vet send for the complete thyroid panel @ Michigan State) and also get him on this Holistic Select dog food, because our dog had a thyroid problem combined with a food allergy. This food doesn't have any wheat, soy, artificial colors or ingredients, and these are all common irritants to dogs. Corn is also a common ingredient that many dogs are allergic to, I'm not sure if this product has corn in it. But if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on food allergy tests, then get him on this food and see how he reacts. Great company, food was fresh, good ingredients, unfortunately my hound was allergic to something in it. His ears went crazy, constantly scratching so I had to give this away and go back to Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb and Rice, within a week his ears were back to normal.

This food is great. We have been feeding our golden retriever Eagle Brand for years. She is a healthy and active 13 yrs. and 8 months old. She deserves the best and we think this food helps us give it to her.

This was recommended to me by the Great Dane Lady, who has spent her life researching canine nutrition - and not as her business - just for her love of dogs. My Cavaliers have eaten this product for 2 years now and they are doing wonderful at 9-1/2 and 12 years of age.
