As far as I'm concerned it doesn't get any better than Addiction. Kangaroo and Apples is perfect for my dog that has some allergies. This food works well if your dog also needs a higher-fiber food (such as dogs with IBD or colitis) since, at 7%, it has about twice the fiber of most others. We mix this Regional Red with the 6 Fresh Fish and Vegetables and it is like a super food for our four dogs. They love it and they are adjusting to it very well, after having used Canidae for their entire lives (ages 11, 9, and 4). Our new rescue pup (Shepherd/Collie mix) who is about 8 months old is doing well with the a 1/2 cup of kibble mixed with 1 cup cooked rice and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (2x a day). The dry kibble straight gave her diarrhea because it was so rich.

Orijen food is simply the best. We switched our Lab over to this food recently from the Adult formula. Stool was a little runny at first but now is ok.

Excellent product, a kibble you can feed your dog and feel good about. It's made from organic locally grown products and the meat is humanely raised.
I also use the puppy and cat food. All critters give it a paws up.
I change between a home prepared organic/local/grass fed/free range local meat, lamb, pork and chicken diet. The fact that all my pets gobble it down on kibble days is a testimony for Orijen's appeal as well.
Added bonus, my open minded vet recommended it me after she did a lot of research to find the best kibble on the market. Sadly she's the first vet I've encountered who has researched this. Most of the vet's I've asked push Science Diet which we all know gets low ratings for quality.
I must sound like an Orijen marketer, but I'm not! Just a huge fan.

My dog really likes this food. I started buying Burns brown rice and chicken because my dog had skin problems that I suspected were related to his food (I was feeding him Iams adult dog food). Kibbles are a little thicker than other kibbles so they are harder to eat but my dogs like them in small portions.

Who Should Eat CORE:

How to Feed CORE:
CORE is highly palatable, so your dog may tend to eat more of this food.
Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Please give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times.
It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes awhile for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness CORE each day, so that you are feeding 100% new food by day 7.

My Labrador has air borne allergies. This is great food. Easily digested and has no grain. She loves it.

Excellent for the health of the dog. However, I prefer the low fat as one of my dogs has put on too much weight after parvo. (She is a rescue.) I trade off for the flavor variety for them
