I was hoping this food would be good for my dog who has had a bowel resection and has constantly loose stools. Unfortunately the protein richness of this food was a little too much for her little system and made her vomit, even though I had only introduced the tiniest amount (we tried it for 4 days with just a few morsels mixed in with her old food). I hate to give it a bad review because I'm sure it's a great product that just didn't work for my dog.

My dogs are not picky eaters. Normally they eat Go!, Now!, or Orijen. They were not fond of this product. I hauled it to the curb yesterday.

Both my dog and I loved this food. Unfortunately Horizon has changed their formula for this food. I gave the old formula a 5 star rating; but I would give the new one only about a 3. It now has very little meat protien and alot more vegtable protein. I don't know what they're thinking but I won't continue to feed it to my dog in the future. Very disappointing!

I have a senior dog with IBD, so I have to be really careful what I feed him. I fed another brand of duck based food for quite some time. However, they changed their formula and he had a flareup so I needed to try something different for him. I took a chance on the Go! Natural duck formula and it has worked out great so far.

My allergy dog is doing very well on the Go Natural Duck Fornula. I do mix the kibble with Tripett Green Venison Tripe because he is a very picky eater. Since I have been feeding this food and the tripe together he has not missed a meal. I picked this food for my foxhound because of Petcurian Nutrition's manufacturing practices and the fact that they clean and sanitize the equipment between each run. The dog food that I was buying before-Pure Vita Duck and Oatmeal-always had pieces of cat food in it. I will go back to ordering the lamb diet once I am done with the order of bison. The lamb is much easier to handle and portion.

We recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian. The maintenance of proper body weight is most important for your dog’s health. Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations for your dog. Remember, fresh clean water should be available at all times!
The Adult dogs should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Sweet Potato & Fish Formula, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the Table. Energy requirements vary with environmental conditions, temperature and activity of your dog. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your dog’s needs.
Pregnant Females Minimal increase needed during first 6 weeks. Weeks 7, 8, & 9 increase up to 25%.
Lactating Females Immediately after whelping, the nutritional demand increases by 50% compared to maintenance levels. Feed in 3 equal meals per day.
Working Dogs - Based on the work your dog will be asked to perform, the nutritional requirements will vary accordingly. As the work load increases, the demand for protein and fat increases proportionally. Dogs in hard training will generally require twice the maintenance levels.
