I received my package yesterday. In it was a sample of this stuff. My brother's shih tzu picked this sample out of the bunch and put a hole in the bag. So, I decided to go ahead and let her have it. She and my two chihuahuas loved it. They are all very picky eaters too. I was very pleased.
It doesn't have a fishy or bad smell like other dog foods we've tried. This one is a great one to get, especially if you normally don't feed your dogs beef or fish (like me). It is important for dogs to have a variety of meats in their diets.

This food looked so healthy and I thought it would be really good from my dogs. They have skin problems, but I could not get they to eat it. They would only eat it if I added salmon oil or can salmon.

I was excited to feed this to my dogs, as I researched and found it to be a top-notch dog food. Unfortunately, this didn't bode well with my two lhasa apso's. Measure by weight to be sure it's euqivalent to measure of previous food or you will notice blood sugar is up in diabetic pet. You actually may get more food per measured cup due to small pellet size. Only con is I'd prefer less or no glucosamine supplement in ingredients.

My dog is your typical dog - she will eat anything, anytime, anywhere. We had her on a store brand for a while which she always gobbled up, but after extensive research we switched to this about 6 months ago. She loves it SO much that if we ever try to substitute anything else for it (like if we're bad parents and have forgotten to order another bag before we run out) she will not eat! This is from a dog who historically has no problems eating anything edible so it just speaks volumes on how excellent this food is and the caliber of quality it delivers. We introduced it slowly (mixed with her previous food for about a week) and at first she had a little gas, which is natural, but it's helped immensely with her breath, given her even MORE energy (she is 9 but still acts like a puppy!) and also made her poo more solid which makes it easier to pick up. It's a little pricey, but one 30 lb bag typically lasts us about 2 months (1 feeding/day) and shipping is free! I would recommend in it a heartbeat!

These guideline amounts are a starting point for weight maintenance for moderately active adult dogs. Vary the amount fed to suit the age, activity level and temperament of your dog. Feed to maintain ideal body condition. Do not let your dog become overweight. These guideline amounts are for the total fed each day. Divide the amount fed by the number of feedings to get the amount per feeding. One 8 ounce measuring cup contains 3.5 ounces or 100 grams of PureVitaTM dog food. For Puppies: PureVitaTM dog food is appropriate for growing puppies. Offer PureVitaTM dog food moistened as soon as puppies begin to nibble at solid food. Feed puppies all the PureVitaTM dog food they will consume. After 6 months, feed at intervals throughout the day, increasing the amount fed and decreasing to 1 morning and 1 evening feeding. Calorie content (calculated): 3,433 kcal per kg or 365 kcal/cup. Provide clean, fresh drinking water daily.
My dogs have allergies and they love this food. They eat it right up...and I don't need to bribe them by putting other stuff in their dishes.

This is a great product. It is healthy for my dog and easy for me when in a hurry. Normally I feed a raw diet but sometimes I just cant cook for my dog so this is a great alternative and purchasing it from you online is convenient and makes it a better value.

My Mastiff loves all the Tripett varieties, but does seem to favor this one the most - as do I, because the smell, while bad, isn't nearly as awful as the beef tripe. (Helpful hint - rub a little Vick's Vaporub under your nose before you open the can - it'll help mask the smell a bit if you have a sensitive stomach.)

This food looked really good and healthy but my dogs did not like it. They don't like kibble that much I was just trying something new. SF

Our Lab is always on meds for his skin, he is the best he has ever been & he loves the food!! Either spend money on good food or you will to your Vet!

My dog has many food and skin allergies and this is a tolerable food for now and even that is hard for us to find, so I am thrilled. We add some water to the food because it is almost powdery dry and our dog acted like she was getting choked. Also the feeding guidelines are high. We have an 83 pound dog and feed her the amount for a 44 pound dog and she even gained 2 pounds.
