My american bulldog has been on this for 2 months now. Unfortunately, he has loose really smelly stools, some diarhea, and lots of gas on it. I will have to try something else which is not good since I did so much research thinking Orijen was the best food. It seems like it is kinda luck of the draw with these foods. His skin is really soft, he has lots of energy, and his nails grow really fast though.

Transitioning to Wellness: It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. How to Feed Your Puppy: As puppies grow up they need to learn when, where and how to eat. Depending on age, puppies need to be fed at the same time and in the same place 2 - 4 times per day. We have a 10 month old German Shepherd puppy, MAJEK, who isn't much of a foodie, so what she eats has to have exceptional value. She seems to enjoy Wellness for Large Breeds more than some of the other premium brands she has had during food rotation every 3 months or so and food blends. She has one large meal of kibble/can and one smaller meal of raw/raw bones daily. She has maintained nice slow steady growth and is currently 62 pounds. We are expecting her to finish around 70 pounds and we expect to have her on a large breed puppy food for at least another year.
