I've tried the venison from pet store and it was much softer. Maybe this beef jerky is just stale or naturally tougher than the venison from wellnness.

I use these for training and my puppy loves them. They are soft enough to tear apart in bits so one "Bite" goes along way.
My dogs eat Canidae dog food, so it was only natural that I would buy the Snap-Bits for them. They love them! They are the perfect size for my small dogs.

Great snack but a caution - treats are very small so its best to buy this only for small breeds.
My 110 lb. dog loves these but sometimes doesn't take time to chew before swallowing. I knew they would be small (I wanted a training treat) but not this small!
