dog likes them but they are messy [fragments and bits all over the floor] and he seems to lose interest in the last 2/3 of the bone,leaving it lying around, jagged edged and vaguely dangerous looking

This is a great product! My dogs love it and it took care of tartar build up on the teeth. If you have an aggressive chewer monitor them with it, as it can easily be eaten in a very short amount of time, which can lead to upset stomachs.

I have mini doxies and they chewed these down so fast and QUARTER SIZE PIECES broke off. They also drank so much water after that they were incontinent. Threw the remaining 2 away.

My rottie can barely control herself when she sees one of these in my hand. She runs and gets her blanket and spreads it out on the floor as soon as she sees me going for one (she knows she isnt allowed to eat these on mommy's carpet). They are something different rather than the same old things offered in the pet store! Love these.
