My dog has many food and skin allergies and this is a tolerable food for now and even that is hard for us to find, so I am thrilled. We add some water to the food because it is almost powdery dry and our dog acted like she was getting choked. Also the feeding guidelines are high. It is now well established that high intake of protein and fat during growth can lead to health problems in adult dogs. This food was not good for my 2 4poundchihuahuas lots of gas runny stools we switched to fromms dry having excellent results so far.
