My dog loves it, he was recently diagnosed with very early stages of kidney disease and the food my vet recommend was full of awful ingredients. The Burns products are fantastic for dogs that need low protein diets. Both my Corgis have had urinary tract stones and this food is so much better than the prescription dog food alternative. They have been on it for two years and are doing great.

It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. I hope they will continue to carry the low-fat holistic canine products (eventually I may have to switch to another brand, because I believe this product's company has been taken over by another manufacturer that may not be as high quality as this once was, we'll see).
