The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because one of my dogs doesn't like it. He likes Origin Adult but for some reason doesn't like the Legacy Adult which in some cases seems better to me.

Puppies up to 6 months old may be fed 3 to 4 times daily. Puppies six months to a year may be fed twice daily.
Feed Pregnant Dogs up to 50% more during the last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing mothers require twice the amount of food as suggested in the daily guidelines and may be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
The above Daily Feeding Guidelines are a good starting point on the amount of food suggested to be fed on a daily basis. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the Daily Feeding Guidelines by the amount of times fed per day.

MY SHIPOO DIDN'T LIKE THIS FOOD THAT MUCH. WHEN I PUT THE WELLNESS FISH WET FOOD ON TOP WOULDN'T HARDLY TOUCH IT. BUT THE CAT LOVED IT. I THINK HE JUST DOESN'T LIKE FISH. BUT WHEN I PUT DUCK,CHICKEN OR ANY OTHER WET FOOD BY WELLNESS OTHER THAN FISH HE EATS IT. HE WILL EAT IT BY ITSELF OK BUT KINDA PICKS AT UNTIL HE KNOWS HE NOT GETTING SOMETHING ELSE. SO MAKE SURE YOU DOG LIKES FISH BEFORE YOU BUY THIS. Puppies up to 6 months old may be fed 3 to 4 times daily. Puppies six months to a year may be fed twice daily.
Feed Pregnant Dogs up to 50% more during the last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing mothers require twice the amount of food as suggested in the daily guidelines and may be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
The above Daily Feeding Guidelines are a good starting point on the amount of food suggested to be fed on a daily basis. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the Daily Feeding Guidelines by the amount of times fed per day.

I have a pit/boxer mix that i was feeding Solid Gold. The puppy food was good but the adult food gave her really bad gas. I switched to Canidae and the gas problem isnt as bad as Solid Gold but still isnt good. Maybe its my dog.....anyway, the product is good just not good for my dogs stomach.
