Healthy Weight - Cat Food - Healthy Weight is a well-rounded, solution-focused diet of meats, grains and fruits for cats with a more sedentary lifestyle. We have focused on the nutrition that overweight cats need to remain healthy with less caloric intake. These cats tend to gain weight (lifestyle is more sedentary), experience hip and joint problems (from carrying excessive weight or aging), and tend to eat more (because they do not feel full). With this in mind, we have focused on lifestyle specific nutrition for healthy and happy weight-challenged cats.

Active Care - Healthy Joint Formula - Lamb Meal and Brown Rice - Dry Dog Food
What makes the Active Care Lamb & Brown Rice different is natural chicken cartilage and our patented method of obtaining it. Many dog foods have taken an easy leap onto the healthy joint bandwagon by adding varying amounts of synthetic forms of chondroitin and glucosamine then claiming to promote good joint health. Natural chicken cartilage provides the all-important GAGs in an all natural stable form so there are no chemical side effects. With natural chicken cartilage, Active Care was specifically created to maintain good joint health.

I have been feeding this to my GSD/Shepherd/Chow mix for 5 years, he was diagnosed with severe hip displasia and arthritis when he was 2. Between this food and supplements he is doing better than even the vet could imagine. It is great because it is appropriate for puppies to eat as well, so there has been no problem with having to get different foods when we got a new puppy last year. They both love it and it's great for them too!

I bought this food for my dog who has joint problems with one of her back legs due to chasing frisbees. So far I haven't noticed a difference with it helping. Maybe I just haven't had her on it long enough to start working so I'm going to keep her on the food since she really likes it.

Indoor Health - Cat Food - Indoor Health is a well-rounded, solution-focused diet of meats, grains and fruits for cats that live indoors. These cats tend to gain weight (lifestyle is more sedentary), experience dry skin (from continued exposure to indoor air and heat), and have increased hairballs (from constant grooming and hair loss from dry skin).
All of these issues seem worse to their respective owners who interact much more with their indoor cat including a close watch of litterbox use or more lap time. With this in mind, we have focused on lifestyle specific nutrition for healthy and happy indoor cats and their owners.

Transitioning to Wellness: It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.
Determining Feeding Portions: : Looking at the chart below, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Wellness believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your dog's diet.
