My Shiloh Shepherd was always itchy and constantly scratching. He would periodically have issues with his digestive system. These small bites are very small.. bb size.. and at first I thought they were only suitable for a 2 lb dog... but my 15 lb Boston Terrier absolutely loves this food... she is now a former picky eater and gobbles these up with gusto... I am ordering the large bites for my large dog as he tries to eat her little ones.

We mix this Regional Red with the 6 Fresh Fish and Vegetables and it is like a super food for our four dogs. They love it and they are adjusting to it very well, after having used Canidae for their entire lives (ages 11, 9, and 4). Our new rescue pup (Shepherd/Collie mix) who is about 8 months old is doing well with the a 1/2 cup of kibble mixed with 1 cup cooked rice and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (2x a day). The dry kibble straight gave her diarrhea because it was so rich.

My dog loves it, he was recently diagnosed with very early stages of kidney disease and the food my vet recommend was full of awful ingredients. After doing so research on what a balanced diet for a dog in the very early stages of KD looked like I found Burns Pet Health, it meets his nutritional requirements and I like the ingredient list. His minor KD symptoms have also improved making me an even bigger fan. I scoured the web looking for the food at the best price (w/shipping) because it's not sold locally and k9cuisine.com was by far the best value.

Epigen™ may be used as a single meal, or as a top dress to other foods to boost quality protein and other nutrient levels. Any sudden change in diet may result in digestive disturbances.
