My toy poodle just does not like this, and he is not a very fussy eater. So, have to rate it low.

My dog ate this food but was not really crazy about it. It probably is because she is very picky. There is probably nothing wrong with the food. I didn't really know how to rate it. It could be that she just doesn't care for fish.

I mix this with the dry Wellness Core about once a week as a treat for my dogs!

Human grade chicken product. A winner with my 3 yr old female Rottweiler. Add as a topper to Wellness Healthy Weight kibble, and your Rottie will be the ideal weight without constant begging for more food, like they are known for. Also, the Glucosamine and Condroitin supps in the kibble help with joint health in the larger breeds. Keep up the good work, Mother Hubbard !!

Transitioning to Wellness: It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.
Determining Feeding Portions: Looking at the chart below, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Wellness believes in feeding dry and wet food in combination whenever possible to help increase the level of water in your dog's diet.
Nutrition is only one part of the equation! Be sure to give your dog plenty of love, plenty of exercise and see your veterinarian regularly to help ensure total wellness.

Recommended Feeding Portions (Based on a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup)
Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed.

This food is an answer to my prayers. I have 2 pancreatitis dogs and an inflammatory bowel dog and this is finally something they all do well on and they just love it. Lower in fat than the prescription diets and much healthier!

Less veggies than I would have thought (mostly beef), but my dog LOVES it. I was a bit afraid, as her stomach is ridiculously sensitive, but no problems at all! My next order is for a whole case! I stir half a can into a cup of the Wenaewe dry food for her dinner, and she's a huge fan.
