Excellent product, a kibble you can feed your dog and feel good about. It's made from organic locally grown products and the meat is humanely raised.
I also use the puppy and cat food. All critters give it a paws up.
I change between a home prepared organic/local/grass fed/free range local meat, lamb, pork and chicken diet. The fact that all my pets gobble it down on kibble days is a testimony for Orijen's appeal as well.
Added bonus, my open minded vet recommended it me after she did a lot of research to find the best kibble on the market. Sadly she's the first vet I've encountered who has researched this. Most of the vet's I've asked push Science Diet which we all know gets low ratings for quality.
I must sound like an Orijen marketer, but I'm not! Just a huge fan.

Transitioning to Wellness: It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness by day 7.
How to Feed Your Puppy: As puppies grow up they need to learn when, where and how to eat. Depending on age, puppies need to be fed at the same time and in the same place 2 - 4 times per day. My pup (a great pyrenees) started having loose stool after I began feeding him this. Ingrediants say it is a good food, but it didn't work out for him and made house breaking that much harder.

We have a 10 month old German Shepherd puppy, MAJEK, who isn't much of a foodie, so what she eats has to have exceptional value. She seems to enjoy Wellness for Large Breeds more than some of the other premium brands she has had during food rotation every 3 months or so and food blends. She has one large meal of kibble/can and one smaller meal of raw/raw bones daily. She has maintained nice slow steady growth and is currently 62 pounds. We are expecting her to finish around 70 pounds and we expect to have her on a large breed puppy food for at least another year.
