My cat is 15 years old and is a very picky
eater but he loves this food and I never had a proublem with his eating it.

The food is as good as the other Instinct varieties. It has all the same good qualities to recommend it (plenty moist, with some gravy, good veggies, etc.). The cats just won't really eat it. They'll nibble at it some, then leave the rest.

This food has a rich aroma, is PLENTY juicy and has recognizable vegetables in it. The cats don't go nuts for it, but they'll certainly eat it. I love having this food as a "stand by" when they won't eat anything else. They always eat a fair amount of this when I put it out.

Good food at a great price. Some cats really liked this and some didn't. The ones who eat Holistic Select did not like this food. They seem to prefer food with fish. My dogs, on the other hand, thought this was great. On who has cardiomyopathy who would only eat raw meat would eat this food.

I have four cats and they all ate this brand and flavor. Two were skepical at first, since those two are creatures of habit and used to eating another brand. Three of my cats are allergic to fish and can't eat anything with fish in it, including fish meal, so this offered a nice alternative. My senior cat is sick right now and can't seem to keep anything down, so after researching online, I found this product and upon reading the ingredients decided to try it as a different source of protein since everything in it is good for kidney, bladder and lower abdominal health. And varying protein sources by introducing cats to something they've never tried can actually be beneficial to them. I am happy to report that my cat PINKY has shown remarkable improvement, and all cans are gone!
What's really good about Natural Instincts canned food (haven't tried the dry version) is the liquid buillion. The pate is so moist, which really works for Clyde who has really had his back teeth removed and is healing from that, and Pinky loves drinking the broth. This product looks really substantial like hamburger cooked medium rare with a sear on the outside. Although this product was a winner with all four cats, especially Clyde, who wolfed it down, their favorite was the duck.

This was my cat family's favorite of all the Natures's Instinct canned cat food brands. This food looks and smells good, is very moist with plenty of flavorful juice your cats will really love. My cat Pinky is very fussy, but ate this like their was no tomorrow and this was the first time he's tried a different brand. Since he has been sick I have researched alternate sources of protein from fish, chicken, turkey, etc. and you can't get duck or rabbit or venison and pork from any of the grocery stores near my area. I was very happy with how much my cats enjoyed trying something new, and pleased when I saw actually sweet potato pieces and rice etc.
