Northern Biscuit Company realizes the importance of a dog's place in the family. Just as proper nutrition is important to your family's health, it is equally important to the health of your dog.
Inspired by the pristine wilderness and poetic beauty of Canada's Far North, Northern Biscuit have developed a variety of natural biscuits using stone ground grains, wild game, farm fresh meats and fresh Lake Trout!
We chose the Inukshuk as the symbol of our company. It reflects the purity of nature - just the way we make our treats. Inukshuk (pronounced IN-OOK-SHOOK) meaning "in the image of man", are magnificent lifelike figures of stone which were erected by the Inuit people and are unique to the Canadian Arctic. They make the way easier and safer for those who follow, and represent safety, nourishment, trust and reassurance. Standing along Canada's most northern shores, they endure as eternal symbols of leadership, encouraging the importance of friendship and reminding us of our dependence upon one another. May the Inukshuk be your guide for a safe journey throughout life's travels. Let it always guide you and your pet home.

My dog loves these! I tried the liver ones and he was not as excited about them, but these and the turkey dressing and cranberry he just loves!

The dogs love peanut butter, and they love banana, so this combination in a treat biscuit is perfect for them. The ingredients are much healthier than a peanut butter treat I used to buy. Still, I'm very stingy and ration these because the older dog is weight-watching. Only one or two per day, and only one before we ran out of the blueberry treats....
Braised Lamb & Trout - A truly sublime snack baked with the gentle goodness of FOOD-GRADE New Zealand lamb and OMEGA-3 RICH Rainbow and Lake Trout from Georgian Bay, Ontario. This WHEAT-FREE offering is ideal for dogs needing some OMEGA-3 Fatty Acids to help maintain a SHINY, HEALTHY skin and coat.
Venison & Apples - Some dogs need alternative proteins and a little extra fibre. We have developed a delicious biscuit using REAL VENISONas a protein and APPLES as a healthy source of fibre.
Ground Barley Ground Brown Rice Venison Ontario Apples Peas Carrots Oats Brewer’s yeast Garlic Parsley Rosemary
Peanut Butter Crunch - Dogs LOVE Peanut Butter! One of our favourites (we love the taste ourselves!) chock-full of NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER with NO icing sugar or hydrogenated oils.
Our puppy LOVES these treats and I love that they are healthy!

Good, but not as tasty as the paenut butter flavor. They are more "well-done" than the peanut butter ones - a little harder to break into smaller pieces for smaller dogs like mine.
Harvest Vegetable - We’ve taken out the wheat and loaded in PEAS, CARROTS, and PURE PUMPKIN to offer a VEGAN snack full of natural FIBRE and BETA-CAROTENE for dogs that cannot have meat proteins or yeast.
I have two dogs both did not like this very much but it seems like a very healthy, too bad, I had to switch to something else.

Hard to say if good or bad.My Bedlington Terrier does not stomach garlic very well and it appears that these treats have a fair amount in them.

The treats smell great and are very fresh. My dogs could barely wait until I opened the bag. I own a dog with food allergies and, so far, these treats show no sign of irritation.
Green Beef Tripe with Atlantic Kelp - Green Tripe ("Green" simply mean the tripe is pure and unbleached).
The smell is worth the enthusiasm of a dog for green tripe. They will adore you for it, and they will be getting excellent nutrition.
It contains a diverse profile of nutrients including enzymes, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, probiotics, and phytonutrients. Green tripe aides in digestion and has a flavour dogs can't resist.
Potato Green Tripe from Beef Lecithin Kelp Parsley
My guys eat a raw diet and but Kelly was licking her feet and her vet said her ears were yeasty. Kelly's vet suggested a grain free treats. No more foot licking!
