Merrick is a family-owned company that got into to the petcare business by accident. They created some prototype treats for a potential account and made the trip to “pitch” them. The account picked a handful of them and placed an order. Of course, when they went to make duplicates of the prototype, they couldn’t get it done.
Eighteen years later, Merrick still keeps working harder to perfect the treats that dogs have come to love. For the past couple of years, their treats have been ranked as the number two best-selling treat in pet stores across the U.S. by a Pet Retailer Report - so, our guess is that we do have some fans.
The secret to Merrick products is the simplistic approach they take in making them. They are a simple processor, meaning that uses the least amount of steps as possible during their manufacturing process. They want to retain as much of the natural benefits as they can. Merrick do that by staying away from any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They believe that this approach keeps their treats popular with their customers and their guardians. Merrick only distributes their treats to the specialty pet retailer channel, and have been doing that since the beginning.
Once upon a time there was a magical place called Wingaling and it had the best tasting chicken in the world. Nutty brown rice simmered in savory gravy that naturally marinates these delicious chicken wings on the bone to add flavor. The Merrick's would like to welcome your dog into this wonderland of flavor that is chicken paradise.

This dish comes with everything but the sour kraut, lederhosen and a stout pint of German ale. We’ve set the table and left the rest to your imagination. However, we do recommend that if your dog is of German descent to ease them into a dish like this or they might leave in the middle of the night to catch the next boat back to the homeland. The Merrick's would like to say Danke.
If a treat could be compared to popcorn, this would be it. These bite size cubes are great for all sizes and ages of dogs. Their softer texture makes it easier for dogs both young and old to enjoy. Lamb lung is the sole ingredient for this product which is a natural source of high protein and a great treat for dogs on a lamb diet. This product is packaged in a resealable canister to help keep these treats fresh. Don’t pay more for the other lung products on the market, and reward your dog with this nutritional Merrick treat.
We really don’t have to say much about this treat at all because it sells itself. As the top selling treat at Merrick, the Flossie™ is made from a beef tendon. The unique design of this treat creates a natural chewing friction against the teeth which helps to clean a dog's teeth. We have not met a dog yet who has turned down one of these tasty treats.
Love these Flossies. Safer than rawhyde and both young and old dogs can enjoy them.

Whether it’s a corner café on the streets of Paris, a Cottage tucked along the French countryside or a trip up the Eifel Tower with your significant other, they all spell the romance of France. This savory delight inspired by the many culinary artists from across the pond will have your dog begging for more in a heavy French accent in no time. The Merrick’s say Merci Beaucoup.
This bayou classic allows dogs to get in touch with their southern senses. We all know that Napoleon did us a favor with the Louisiana Purchase at 3 cents an acre but we have to believe that if he could have foreseen the mixed breed that is Cajun cooking coming that even he would have thought twice about his most famous garage sale. The delicious combination of all these flavors cooked together makes even vegetarians reconsider their pledge. It’s time that all of our dog friends had a taste of this Cajun Treat. The Merrick’s would like to toast Napoleon, so finish this entrée off with his dessert’s namesake and thank the French for their charity – strike that, thank our forefathers for absolutely owning them!

Gourmet Lunch Box - Variety Pack of 8 Entrees - Canned Dog Food
Call us old fashioned but we like the old days. We’re talking about the old school lunch boxes that mom used to pack every day as she sent us off to school. This was the day way before manufactured; over processed pre–packed blah blah became the standard fare in the lunch room. We miss the TLC and home cooked goodness that used to come in our lunch boxes when we went to school or work.

A simple life of a shepherd is not so simple but it is oh so comforting for the sheep to know that they are under His watch. How much food your dog eats is dependent upon size, level of activity, stage of reproduction, and environment. When feeding in measured amounts, feed according to the weight of your dog. Use this table as a GENERAL GUIDE to determine how much Merrick Five-Star Gourmet to feed your dog.
*For dogs over 100 lbs.. add 1/2 cup of dry dog food for each additional 10 lbs. Adjust feeding level to your dog's individual needs. Puppies and nursing females may consume two or three times the recommended amount per day. Keep fresh water available at all times.

my dogs love it. We had allergy problems before using it, now one feed and all are happy

For a dry food, my dogs clean out their dishes fairly well!
