Puppies up to 6 months old may be fed 3 to 4 times daily. Puppies six months to a year may be fed twice daily.
Feed Pregnant Dogs up to 50% more during the last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing mothers require twice the amount of food as suggested in the daily guidelines and may be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
The above Daily Feeding Guidelines are a good starting point on the amount of food suggested to be fed on a daily basis. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the Daily Feeding Guidelines by the amount of times fed per day.

We just started our three younger dogs (ages 10, 8, and 2) on the grain free Canidae. I love what it's done for their coats and their energy. Our little Chihuahua/Pom mix has had the best stools of her life - and hasn't needed to have her glands squeezed. Our elderly dog (14) couldn't adjust to the grain free version. He got very loose stools on it, so we put him back on his Canidae Platinum diet and he's just fine. We'll never switch.

For two years we have fed the regular Canidae All Life Stages to our dogs... so this is our first bag of the Canidae Grain Free. Our dogs love the food and there is even less waist then before... we love this product and the ingredients... and so glad to be feeding "grain free"
