The limited ingredients are good for food elimination trials, or for times when my dog is struggling with stomach upset. This food appears to be highly digestible. I rotate it with other foods, to give my dogs a digestive 'break.' They have difficulty digesting almost all carbs, but do well with the rice only in this food.
