In nature your pets couldn’t choose between a puppy, adult, or light formulation, only a diet of mainly meats and small amounts of grain. Puppies up to 6 months old may be fed 3 to 4 times daily. Puppies six months to a year may be fed twice daily.
Feed Pregnant Dogs up to 50% more during the last 3 weeks of pregnancy. Nursing mothers require twice the amount of food as suggested in the daily guidelines and may be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
The above Daily Feeding Guidelines are a good starting point on the amount of food suggested to be fed on a daily basis. If you feed more than once per day, simply divide the Daily Feeding Guidelines by the amount of times fed per day.

I've tried switching to different brands to add some variety to my dogs diets, but essentially, my dogs have a better coat, no gas, no burps and smaller poops with Canidae. The customer service with the company several years back when they changed formulas was excellent also.

My pitbull loves this food. It has kept her healthy. When I told my vet that this was what I had chosen to feed my dog, she was thrilled!! She agreed that it is a top notch product. She said it is amazing how many dog owners think that any food they feed their dog is ok. Not so!!
