These guideline amounts are a starting point for weight maintenance for moderately active adult dogs. Vary the amount fed to suit the age, activity level and temperament of your dog. Feed to maintain ideal body condition. Do not let your dog become overweight. These guideline amounts are for the total fed each day. Divide the amount fed by the number of feedings to get the amount per feeding. One 8 ounce measuring cup contains 3.5 ounces or 100 grams of PureVitaTM dog food. For Puppies: PureVitaTM dog food is appropriate for growing puppies. Offer PureVitaTM dog food moistened as soon as puppies begin to nibble at solid food. Feed puppies all the PureVitaTM dog food they will consume. After 6 months, feed at intervals throughout the day, increasing the amount fed and decreasing to 1 morning and 1 evening feeding. Calorie content (calculated): 3,433 kcal per kg or 365 kcal/cup. Provide clean, fresh drinking water daily.
My dog loves this food and it has stopped him from itching and licking so much. His skin is better and his coat feels great.

This is a good choice if your dog needs a higher fiber food. It has 9% fiber, which is about twice what most dry foods contain. The only potential drawback is that the ingredients contain barley. That can be a problem for some dogs who are gluten intolerant. Otherwise, tho, this one is a winner and passes our Four-Dog Taste Test.

Our 12 year old dog is healthy, happy, energetic, her coat is great, her anal glands remain empty for the first time in her life...all on this food. She's a lab border collie and other stuff mix. We're delighted that in these elder years, she looks and acts like a five year old, just with a lot of gray hair. I think the food has a good deal to do with this.

I have been using Pure Vita for my 2 Aussies for about 5 months and I'm thrilled. They both have stopped vomitting and one has severe skin allergies (that medication only temporarily controls).....now his coat is shiny and no more flaking skin!!!!!!
