Puppies usually begin eating solid food at 4-6 weeks of age. Food should be moistened with water, milk, or broth. Feed puppies three times a day until four months of age. Then feed two times a day thereafter. We recommend splitting the following daily amounts (cups) between two or three feedings. Do NOT get this product if you have small or medium sized puppies. The kibble is HUGE! I breed both small and medium sized breeds and this is far too big for either.

My puppies liked this food and for sure it's a high quality food... BUT for small breed puppies the size is a little too big and hard for them to chew. I prefer the Artemis small breed puppy food. The size is perfect and it's not as hard. I also like the Orijen puppy food. The pieces are larger than Artemis but they are flat, so they have no probelm chewing them.
