Puppies usually begin eating solid food at 4-6 weeks of age. Food should be moistened with water, milk, or broth. Feed puppies three times a day until four months of age. Did a lot of research on choosing the right puppy food for our dog and our dog has enjoyed every meal. We mix his dry food with the Solid Gold canned food. Every now and then his stool is loose, so I just add some white rice to his next meal.

Bought a 33 lbs bag. Great packaging.., Vacuum packed for freshness. My lab puppy loved it, but had loose stools a lot. I began adding a spoon full of yogurt with each meal to give my pup probiotics which I believe this food lacks. Added yogurt, IMHO, seemed to help solve the loose stool problem. I would like to see Pro and Prebiotics added to this food, otherwise excellent food.
