Who Should Eat CORE:
The nutrient levels of this food are appropriate for adult dogs over 1 year. We do not recommend feeding this formula to puppies as they have special nutritional requirements during their growth stage. Please try our Wellness Puppy Food to meet these unique needs.
How to Feed CORE:
CORE is highly palatable, so your dog may tend to eat more of this food.
Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Please give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times.
It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes awhile for the body to adapt to the new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness CORE each day, so that you are feeding 100% new food by day 7.

I have a Westie and a Yorkie/Maltese. Bought this to help some allergy related problems with the Yorkie. Both of them seem to really enjoy it. I switched to Wellness from one of the buffalo only blends of hard food, which they also enjoyed but the Yorkie began itching terribly. Switching to Wellness core really seemed to help her with the itching.

My two dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE Core dog food. The have energy galore, before Core they laid around and splet most of the day, they get up before I do now and they go all day long. Around 9pm they wind down. They gobble up their food now, always wanting more. I know for my two dogs they love this food.

We have basically kept our Standard Poodle and Goldendoodle on Canidae and EVO for just over two years... this is the second bag of CORE by Wellness and the dogs like it. We mix in fresh or steamed vegies, we like the balance of nutrition that Core contains... we also noticed a little bit less waste then before.

I was hoping this food would be good for my dog who has had a bowel resection and has constantly loose stools. Unfortunately the protein richness of this food was a little too much for her little system and made her vomit, even though I had only introduced the tiniest amount (we tried it for 4 days with just a few morsels mixed in with her old food). I hate to give it a bad review because I'm sure it's a great product that just didn't work for my dog.

My two Golden Retrievers love this food. Their coat is a lot more shiny and their skin allergies have gone away. I love the service of K-9. Great price and it gets to me very fast!

Started working 12 hours after he tried it and 3 bags later it is still the only dog food in 2 years that competely stopped the loose stools and vomiting of bile in our goldendoodle. Bonus is that he loves the taste; actually looks forward to eating now and has finally gained weight!
