We mix this Regional Red with the 6 Fresh Fish and Vegetables and it is like a super food for our four dogs. They love it and they are adjusting to it very well, after having used Canidae for their entire lives (ages 11, 9, and 4). Our new rescue pup (Shepherd/Collie mix) who is about 8 months old is doing well with the a 1/2 cup of kibble mixed with 1 cup cooked rice and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (2x a day). The dry kibble straight gave her diarrhea because it was so rich.

It is recommended to take any bone away if it becomes small enough to fit inside the dog's mouth and remove any small bone pieces the dog has chewed off.
My dogs weren't interested in this bone for some reason.
