My cat is Diabetic. The first vet I saw put her on a prescription diet food with 50% protein. For 6 months she didn't get any better. I change vets. Then new vet pointed out that the first and 5th ingredients in the M/D food where corn meal and corn. The worst thing to give a Diabetic. He said the way the M/D got to 50% protien was with soy. Which some animals can't absorb. The new vet put her on a meat and Low glycemic index veggies,(with no grains ). That diet that include Evo, with it's 50% protein coming from meat. I am totally committed to feeding my cat healthy food....no grain, no by-products. Evo is her favorite. I had very serious concerns when Natura sold its name to P&G, but so far the Evo food has not changed. My 5 cats love it! Difficult to find a premium food they all like. The quality of this food is superior to any premium cat food on the market, the list of ingredients speaks for itself. Plus it's made in their own factory in Canada, not farmed out to XYZ production facility which produces foods for multiple pet food companies, which includes real low quality ingredient foods too. The price is steep but my 10# plus cats only need a total of 1/2cup a day. Much more and they put on weight on this food, it's very high in fat and protein, which is a good thing for a healthy cat, just don't feed too much

I have a cat with allergies to chicken meal, so it's nice to find a cat food that doesn't have it. Plus, they all eat it well.

My cats who were used to Holistic Select would not eat this. Those who did not eat HS would. The lack of cans is convenient, but it takes a long time to rehydrate certain parts of this food - more than a half hour . I like the fact that you can control the amount of moisture, especially for kitties that need it. I would like to have a version of this that includes fish to tempt those cats that prefer some fish.

This food did not agree with my cat..She has a very sensitive stomach..I think it is too rich, although I know it is a very good product..I am currently using Solid Gold katz-n-flocken and all my cats are doing well on it..

The cans are a bit on the small side but since this isn't cheap canned cat food with lots of empty fillers and by-products, one doesn't need to feed as much as with cheaper brands.
I will continue to order Petropics-Tiki Cat for my cats as well as Solid Gold and Weruva wet food.

Good food at a great price. Some cats really liked this and some didn't. The ones who eat Holistic Select did not like this food. They seem to prefer food with fish. My dogs, on the other hand, thought this was great. On who has cardiomyopathy who would only eat raw meat would eat this food.

My cats and I all agree that this is a great food. When I opened the bag, all of my cats swarmed me. The odor is quite strong but is not repulsive or overpowering. It seems to agree with their GI tracts, and, as I stated earlier, the absolutely love it. I will definitely add this to my rotation. I have a couple of cats that get intermittent runny stools. I do supplement with probiotic, but was told by a vet that sweet potato might help-this is an easy way to feed sweet potato and it seems to have helped. I have 5 cats-several very picky and they all like this food.
