Instinct Beef Formula - Nature's Prairie Beef Formula Canned Diet for Cats is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profile for All Life Stages.
Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Your cat should always have access to clean fresh water. ADULT: Feed about one can per 6-8 lbs. of body weight per day. KITTEN: Feed up to twice the adult amount to kittens. GESTATION & LACTATION: Feed up to three times the normal adult amount. My cats don't really care for this variety of Instinct canned cat food. They like chicken & turkey the best.

Sudden changes in diet can sometimes result in digestive disturbances. Do not overfeed regardless of the pet’s acceptance and eagerness. Overfeeding is the most common cause of digestive upset. Always introduce any new diet over a period of days, mixing with the present diet. Keep fresh water available at all times and offer plenty of exercise.
Charlie Brown, my Persian guy loves Instint Rabbit Meal. Given the taste test of Instinct Rabbit and Wellness he always picks the Instinct! It's great food and my kitty loves it as well, but her digestive system doesn't like it so much. Despite slowly switching, she's had severe diarrhea. I think it just might be too rich for the little 5 month old girl.
