I have read Great things about this food and was excited to try it but I slowly mixed it into all four of my dogs diet (they ate Canidae prior to this) and they all started having tummy troubles... Vomiting, etc. I took them all to the vet thinking it was something else, but all checked out normal. I put them back on Canidae and they're doing fine. I'm sure this food is great b/c I hear wonderful things about it, but it just didn't work out for my dogs.

I feel great about feeding this product to my dog, and he loves it.
I was feeding my Border Collie another higher protein food and his coat became dry and dull and his energy level went thru the roof. Also, he remained thin even though he ate the quantity advised. Since feeding California chicken his coat has become shiny and soft and he has gained weight which can be difficult for a border. Also, he hasn't been getting upset stomach and his stool is firm. His energy level is good but not border crazy and I feel good about the listed ingredients.

Great dog food with five dogs , two with allergies to almost everything this dog food is the first that they can have and enjoy!

The quality of this food seems great but my dog didn't like it all that much. Might not be good for picky eaters.
