For those of you on the Weird Dog Food Quest -- this fits the bill! It is low fat, low fiber and one of only 4 dry foods (and I've probably tried over 20) that work for both my Wheaten Terrier mixes. I had to introduce it more slowly, though; it took a day or two for them to adjust to it. But they like it!

Great all-around food that I mix with the Performance blend. Both are eaten eagerly and the dog's coats are shiny and full. Great foods for dogs with allergies. I previously had a Great Dane with poor coat and digestion problems and this was the food that got him in perfect health. I've used it ever since.

I have had my golden retriever and mini dachhund on this since after they were puppies. The vet said it was great for both dog's growth and bones. (the morsels are small enough for the little one and our retreiver doesn't mind the size) When they are on it. Their weight maintains perfectly and they absolutely love it. They have been exstremely healthy . THey both just turned 6 years last month. It sure makes feeding very easy when they both eat the same food ,from the same bowl ,while maintaining perfect weight. This is the only dog food I will buy anymore. I have had dogs with severe health problems thrive without medication on this diet. I recommend it for any canine!

Kibbles are a little thicker than other kibbles so they are harder to eat but my dogs like them in small portions.

We recommend feeding the desired amount once a day or divide the amount into two feedings each day.
My dog has calcium oxalate stones and, after surgery, was put on a prescription diet to reduce the incidence of their return. He wouldn't touch the prescription food. I started him on this food and, one week later, he actually had virtually no crystals in his urine anymore! (The crystals cause the stones). This isn't designed for dogs with stones, but for whatever reason, it works for my little guy, and the picky little critter actually eats it too!

1 tablespoon a day? I should've looked at the directions more clearly. I was going to transition my Pomeranian puppy who's eating a half cup a day split into 3 meals. A tablespoon totally covered her meal and made her walk away after digging through for a couple pieces.

My dog has a very sensitive stomach. He throws up if he eats anything other than really good quality dog food. I do give him organic scrambled eggs sometimes, but that's about it other than this dog food. He is a larger purebred dog 16yrs old and going strong.
