Ingredients
- Human Grade Stone Ground: whole ground brown rice
- whole ground oats
- sprouted barley
- organic whole ground blue corn
- organic whole ground kamut
- wheat germ (toasted)
- cultured milk powder
- pure Acadian sea kelp
- calcium carbonate (organic shell)
- whole apple (dried)
- whole ground carob
- nutritional yeast
- ginger root
- parsley
- rosemary
- marjoram
- oregano
Nutritional Information
Original Adult Health Food Sample Recipe:
Mix together:
- 5 cups Original Adult Health Food Mix
- 1 Cup ECF Garden Veggies (or 1 Cup orange & 1 Cup green vegetables - pureed & 2 pureed Red Apples (skin on))
- 1 1/2 tbsp. ECF Pure Alfalfa
- 2 raw Eggs
- 1/4 cup. sunflower oil
- 1 1/2 - 2 cup water
- Add & mix together:
- 2 lb. regular ground Beef, Chicken, Turkey, Lamb or fish (ie canned salmon)
- 1/2 cup Salmon, mackeral, sardines, tuna (canned)
Preperation
- Put in a 9" x 13" or 2 x 8" x 8" baking dishes. Or make 24 x 1/2 cup muffins. Or scoop 24 x 1/2 cup scoops on greased or lined baking sheet.
- Bake 350F for 45 minutes (until done). Consistency of a cakey meatloaf.
- Cool, feed and refrigerate or freeze extra.
The Essex Cottage Gastro Diet is the ideal diet for your LARGE or Giant breed that is predisposed to bloating. Large and/or giant breed dogs that were
raised on a Kibble puppy food run the risk of deadly bloating. If this is the case with your dog, Essex Cottage recommends that you start feeding their Gastro Health Diet to prevent this.
