Grain Free Real Texas Beef & Sweet Potato Puppy Recipe

Texas beef is a hit with our furry friends so Merrick now offers this option in a puppy food formula. Try Grain Free Real Texas Beef & Sweet Potato Puppy Recipe! It's made with whole foods sourced from local farms Merrick knows and trusts. Feed your dog only the best from sources you know you can count on!

Featuring 70% of its protein from animal sources, deboned meat is always the first ingredient. The high quality protein helps build and maintain healthy muscle tissue and is a great option for pups who don't do well with grain.

Created in Hereford, TX, Merrick prides itself on this recipe being being cooked in kitchens upheld to strict FDA guidelines right here in the United States of America. So you can be confident in the quality of your little bundle of energy's dinner. This recipe starts with real deboned meat as the first ingredient with the following four ingredients being sweet potatoes, peas, chicken meal, and potatoes.

If your puppy likes this this recipe, make sure to check out Merricks other grain free sweet potato recipes as they grow older. From Real salmon to Real Lamb, there are plenty of different options to choose from. All of which are of the very highest quality made with leading levels of Omega fatty acids to support healthy skin and coats! Added glucosamine and chondroitin also foster joint health.

Merrick uses real, whole, foods like blueberries and apples which are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Next are easily digestible carbohydrates like potatoes and sweet potatoes because they offer the benefit of sustained energy without causing digestive issues in sensitive tummies. Added DHA helps support healthy brain development in puppies as well.

Using the chart below, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your puppy per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every puppy is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz. of wet food. Pregnant or nursing females may consume two or three times the recommended amount per day. For adult dogs, we recommend feeding 75 % of the recommended amount for puppies 16-52 weeks of age.
