Of course, a dog food is only as good as the meat it contains, and Wellness Complete Health Grain Free Puppy Dog Food has lots of quality meat. The first two ingredients are chicken and chicken meal, which together offer all the protein you could want for a growing carnivore. This food has a guaranteed 32% protein, which will help your puppy grow lean muscle to carry him through his adult years. Salmon meal is also on the ingredient list to meet the specific needs of a puppy, as it is an excellent source of calcium and phosphorous for developing strong bones and omega 3 fatty acids for brain development. Plus, omega 3s are the perfect skin and fur conditioner, making your pup’s coat shine.
An ideal mix of animal protein and fat plus some grain free carbs is the recipe for healthy energy in a pup. Your dog needs the energy to play, explore and exercise, which is why low glycemic legumes are included in the top ingredients after meat. Peas, chickpeas and lentils offer lots of long lasting energy and fiber for good digestion. Salmon oil is another top ingredient that contains DHA for eye and brain development, and makes this food highly palatable. All together, this mix of super nutrients in Wellness Complete Health Grain Free Puppy Dog Food is a great way to boost your pup’s overall health for a strong start to life.

Combination Feeding: If feeding with Wellness wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/3 cup (43g) for every 6 oz (170g) of wet food.
For Pregnant or Nursing Dogs: Since DHA is transferred to puppies in mother's milk, we recommend feeding this during pregnancy and nursing. When pregnant, feed up to 50% more food according to body weight for 12 months. For nursing dogs, allow her to eat at will.
Every puppy is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Please used feeding guidelines as an initial recommendation and adjust as needed.
